World famous Kannada movie “Kantara” qualified for the Oscar awards 2023. The film was submitted by the production house ‘Hombale films’ for the Oscar 2023. The “Kantara” movie was released on 30th September 2022. First, it was released in the Kannada language only. Later because of much demand, Kantara was dubbed into many languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, etc. They also achieved a good box office collection of 400 crores.
Now on the 10th of January, the Kaantara movie achieved another feet. The Kaantara movie got qualified for the Oscar awards 2023. Kaantara enters the Oscar contention list in the Best Movie and Best Actor category.

Meanwhile, the voting will be open for academy members from 12th January to 17th January for pushing qualified movies for the Nominations.
The Oscar academy award is to be held on 12th march 2023 in Los Angeles.
