Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay passed away on Monday. The popular actor encountered an accident on Saturday evening and had suffered serious injuries. He was in critical condition.
Vijay met with an accident
Vijay was riding pillion with his friend Naveen on a bike when it slipped and hit an electric pole. While Naveen fractured his leg, Vijay was seriously injured.
The accident took place around 11:45 pm on Saturday, as both Vijay and Naveen had gone out on the bike to buy medicines. After the incident, doctors performed an emergency brain surgery but Vijay failed to respond to the treatment.

The news was confirmed by actor Kichcha Sudeep, who shared a remembrance post on Twitter.
“Very very disheartening to accept that Sanchari Vijay breathed his last. Met him a couple of times just before this lockdown,,,, all excited about his nxt film,, tats due for release. Very sad. Deepest Condolences to his family and friends. RIP,” he said in his post.

Vijay was a notable actor in Karnataka. He is known for films like Naanu Avanalla…Avalu, Killing Veerappan, and Nathicharami among others. He gets his name as ‘Sanchari’ from the theatre group he was associated with before he began acting in movies.
